Throwback Thursday

In April of 2020, because of circumstances in our world at the time, I decided to draw 30 “happy drawings” and post them on Facebook. I was out of practice with drawing at the time and so, it was an awkward practice and the drawings mostly didn’t turn out very well.

Here are 5 that are pretty decent; most foreshadow my current interest in drawing imaginary landscapes. The third one, though, shows an interior imaginary scene and is my favorite of the set. I do not know how I “pulled that rabbit out of my hat” so to speak with the state of my drawing skills at the time, but am glad I did. Oooh, and the blue guy makes one of his original appearances here, too.

The drawings are 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” inches, except the last, which is that reversed.
