Revisiting an Oldie But Goodie

Just was looking through some older drawings, trying to decide which would be good to try with my newly discovered technique: printing a line drawing from my computer, then watercolor painting it in, as explained in a post on July 6.

This is a drawing from about two and a half years ago, very roughly based on an inn I drive by often, currently known as the Traverse Lodge. The artwork is meaningful to me because it was the first one where I felt like I could do something good - creative, fun, playful, cute and colorful - with my imaginary landscape drawings. I still like it a lot, but there are at least a few others in competition to be the first tried in the new way. TBC …
